The wind and rain started up in the early hours of the morning. Definitely a day of enforced rest! We managed to keep the awning out for part of the day so at least we could access the camper kitchen, but then it got too windy and we had to wind it in.

Thankfully we are at a caravan park with a restaurant so we all piled over there at lunch time and had burgers. Played a few games of Uno, read books, caught up on a bit of work 🙂

Matthew’s gear is now all soaking wet, so Steve kindly offered to let him bunk in their room on the floor.

The rain eases off by the end of the day, but we now have a lot of stuff very wet and covered in red mud. We will deal with that tomorrow!
